Mary Elizabeth Varnadoe, 100, of Franklin, Georgia, died February 7, 2011. Mrs. Varnadoe was born on November 2, 1910. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Joe Varnadoe; sons, Wallace, Curtis, Ellis and Troy Varnadoe; grandchild, Steve Varnadoe and one great-greatgrandchild.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Varnadoe of Franklin and Roy E. (Margaret) Varnadoe of Cleveland, Georgia; daughter, M.J. Wright of Newnan, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Christine, wife of the late Troy Varnadoe of Fayetteville, Georgia; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service held February 10 in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Reverend Wally Woodcock officiating. Burial on February 11 at Westview Cemetery, Mountrie.
