GREEN SEA--Mrs. Effle Harrelson Floyd, 85, died Monday in a local hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Green Sea Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery directed by Hardwick Funeral Home.
Born in Horry County, Mrs. Floyd was a daughter of the late John M. and Emma Enzor Harrelson. She was a member of the Green Sea Baptist Church and wife of the late Eddie Luther Floyd.
Surviving are 2 sons, John R. Floyd of Green Sea, and E.L. Floyd of Greenwood; four daughters, Mrs. Maude Crosby of Green Sea, Mrs. Edith Floyd of Cerro Gordo, N.C. and Miss Bessie Floyd of Cincinnati, Ohio; 2 half brothers, Coy Harrelson and Ossie Harrelson, both of Tabor City, N.C.; sister, Mrs. H.H. Lewis of Tabor City, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
