Nancy Alice (Shepherd) Cope, 68, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in Norman OK. She was born to Lee Fines and Ruby (Gilleland) Shepherd on October 29, 1942, in Shawnee OK.
Nancy was raised in Noble OK and attended Noble High School, graduating in 1961. She was employed at Goddard Health Center for 10 years before retiring in 1990. Nancy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by one son, Nathaniel Jay Fox of Reno NV; one daughter, Suzanna Alice Jobe and her husband James of Moore OK; three brothers, Bob Shepherd and wife, MaryAnn Sall of Portland OR; Jerry Shepherd and wife Nancy of Oklahoma City OK; and Frank Shepherd and wife Donna of Pauls Valley OK; one sister, Wanda Blunck and husband Theron of Norman OK; one sister-in-law, Norma Shepherd of Norman OK; six grandchildren, Holly Fox, Tyler Fox, Alexis Jobe, Joseph Jobe, Zipporah Jobe, and Levi Jobe; and her best friends, Joey Roberts and Bobby Warren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dan Shepherd.
