Jerry Raymond Reed 66, of Centre AL , died in his home on Aug 8, 2002. He was born to Woodie and Maggie (Palmer) Reed in Centre, AL.
Mr. Reed was a civil servant for 37 years before retirement. He was a member of Tates Chapel Baptist Church, where he was a former minister of music and deacon. He was past worship master at Sam Dixon Masonic Lodge 218, a volunteer with Caroenters for Christ and a member of Cherokee Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Mickler) Reed of Centre, AL; three daughters, Donna Reed, Beverly Brown and Crystal Duke, all of St. Charles, MO; two sisters, Doris Ball of Centre Al.; and Betty Hubbart of Macon GA; seven grand-children; and eight great-grand-children.
He was proceeded in death by his parents.
Services were Aug 11, 2002 at Tates Chapel Baptist Church in Centre, AL and burial in church cemetery.
