Anna Marie Nelson Ball, 63, of Evanston, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2000.
She was born on December 26, 1936, to Charles W. and Katherine C. Barts Nelson in Rawlins. She was married to Burt Lloyd Ball. They had four children, Kevin, Kathy, Chris and Jennifer.
They moved to Evanston in 1957. She worked as a telephone operator, hotel desk clerk and was a cashier for Wal-Mart until 1997.
Anna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved working in Cub Scouts, Young Women, Primary and was a visiting teacher at the time of her death. She enjoyed country music, sewing, old movies and was an avid bowler. Her greatest love was her children and her beautiful new granddaughter, Meagan.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd, of Evanston; a son, Kevin (Sandy) Ball of Winnemucca, Nevada; daughters, Kathy Ball of Evanston, Chris (Larry) Lym, of Evanston, and Jennifer Ball of Heber City, Utah; her mother, Katherine 'Kay' Nelson, of Evanston; a sister, Betty Parker of Green River; and a granddaughter, Megan Lym, of Evanston.
Her father, Charles Nelson, and a brother, Carl Nelson, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, at 11 a.m. at the Second and Fifth Ward LDS Church. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
Interment will follow in the Evanston City cemetery under the direction of the Crandall Funeral Home.
