Frances Katherine (Ketcherside) Underhill, 90, of Russellville, went to be with her Lord on November 28, 2011, in Blue Springs, MO.

Katherine was born January 16, 1921, at Russellville, to Charles Henry and Flossie Lucille (Weir) Ketcherside.

On September 24, 1938, she was married to Edgar Dee
Underhill, who precedes her in death.

Also preceding her in death are two children, Anna Jean Underhill and Randy Carol Underhill; two brothers, James Vernon (Dick) Ketcherside and Homer McFadden (Mac) Ketcherside.

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Katherine was a life-long resident of Russellville. She was baptized September 6, 1976, by her brother, the Rev. Leon Ketcherside. She worked at International Shoe Factory and then worked with her husband in the poultry business. She loved working with her flowers and garden, but her true love was her family.

She is survived by one son, Bobby Edgar Underhill and wife, Serena; four granddaughters, Laurie (Mark) Mueller of Columbia, MO, Lisa (Matt) Croley of Irving, TX, Anna (Joseph) Wooderson of Bolivar, MO, and Alison (Kirk) Bickel of Decatur, IL; seven great-grandchildren, Grant (Hamilton), Madison and Jordan Mueller, Gracee and Elizabeth Wooderson, and Alayna and Aubrey Bickel; two brothers, Leon (Lesdene) Ketcherside of Russellville, and Charles Leo (Jeannie) Ketcherside of Phoeniz, AZ; and two sisters, Jane (Howard) Austin of South Carolina, and Adele Bumgarner of Cost Mesa, CA.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011, at Oakland Heights Assembly of God, where she was a Charter Member, officiated by the Rev. James Chisum.
Burial will be in Booher Cemetery, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
