Inez Virginia Burgess Taylor, 84, a resident of McDonald, passed away Monday morning, May 23, 2011, in a local hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Honor Burgess and Florence Steveson Burgess. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James A Taylor; sisters: Reba Callahan, Jimmie Cate, and Katherine Mashburn; brothers: Ray Burgess, Prince Burgess and Joe Burgess.
She played the guitar and loved sewing. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Lawana Taylor-Henley and her husband, Robert, of Cleveland; son, Jimmy D Taylor and his wife, Joyce, of McDonald; and grandson, Matthew A Taylor of McDonald.
A remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Timothy Woody officiating.
Interment will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
