Abbie Laura (Hinds) Boyd, 67, of 1105 4th Ave., Chula Vista, a retired self-employed seamstress, died Sunday in a Chula Vista hospital. Mrs. Boyd was a native Californian who lived in the county three months. A daughter, Rachael A. Swenson of Chula Vista; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren survive, Graveside services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Santa Maria Cemetery in Santa Maria. The family suggests contributions to the Heart Fund, the Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
