In 1945, Eugenia graduated from St. Louis High School and went on to continue her education at the University of Texas and Our Lady of the Lake University. On June 16, 1948, Eugenia married Frank J. Ducos, Jr. at St. Louis Catholic Church. They were blessed with 49 wonderful years of marriage at the time of Frank’s death on July 24, 1997.
Eugenia was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, St. Ann’s Altar Society, Lady of the Holy Sepulchre, Sultanas, Pillars of San Fernando Cathedral, and American Legion Post 460 Auxiliary. She also enjoyed playing Bunco with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Mary FitzSimon; husband, Frank J. Ducos, Jr.; infant son, Paul Ducos; brother and sister-in-law, David and JoNell FitzSimon; granddaughter-in-law, Stefanie Bradford; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Lillian Ducos.
