Mrs. Alva O. Hatter
__Addie O. Hatter, 89, of 218 Fourth avenue SW, died Tuesday at a local hospital following a short illness. She was born Sept. 16, 1877, at Millersburg and had lived in Cedar Rapids 40 years. She was a member of the Methodist church. She was married to Alva Hatter May 26, 1895, at Millersburg.
__Surviving are three sons, Harold Hatter of Indianola, Gilbert Hatter of Des Moines, and J. V. Hatter of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Alma Marrow, Ella Vivian Jacobson and Mildred, all of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Jack King of Wellman, and Clayton King of Blairstown; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
__Services: Rohn funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Warren L. Feller of Trinity Methodist church. Burial: Linwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until 1:30 p.m. Thursday as the casket will not be opened after the service.
