Charles was born to Thurman and Lacel Little Bright. He married Alberta Lysinger on November 15, 1937 and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Charles A. Jr., and a daughter, Janice (Joe) Endris, and seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Lewis (Eleanor) Williams.
He was a retired Bedford city employee, and also had worked several years with Lewis Lumber Company. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Bedford.
Services will be at the Day and Carter Mortuary with Dr. R.Robert Gueni officiating, burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
