LYDIA B. PEIFFER

Lydia Belle Peiffer, Fayetteville Route 2, died Sunday. She we found dead by her husband at 8:30 a.m., at her home. She was born Jan. 15, 1908 in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, and was the daughter of the late William K. and Bertha (Kling) Myers.

Mrs. Peiffer was a member of the Mt. Union EUB Club and the Chambersburg Saddle Club.

Surviving are her husband, D. Lester Peiffer; two brothers and two sisters, Bruce Myers, Orrstown Route 1; Albert Myers, Shippensburg Route 2; Mrs. Frank Kurtz, Shippensburg Route 2, and a twin sister, Mrs. R. F. Cassell, Fayetteville Route 2.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Barbour Funeral Home in Chambersburg in charge of Rev. Paul Kauffman and Rev. Joseph Schmitt. Burial will follow in Norland Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
