The Fort Wayne native was a secretary at Peter Eckrich & Sons for 18 years and was a purchasing expeditor for 14 years. Surviving are her husband, Fred J.; a daughter, Diane C. Guthier of Fort Wayne; a brother, Morris D. Cecil of Los Fresnos, Texas; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John E., and a brother. Services are 3 p.m. Monday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours before services. Entombment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to the church or Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.
