Marie lived in Mooresville since 1974 and in Lee County, Virginia for 27 years. She was an assembly line worker for Automotive Armature for 6 years. She attended Gasburg Baptist Church, loved gardening, fishing, quilting and crocheting.
Marie is survived by 2 daughters: Jerry Lundy and Patty (Everett) Lundy both of Mooresville; 5 grandchildren: Rob, Jeff, Dwayne and Brian Lundy and Dalena Smith; 9 great grandchildren: DeAnna, Katie, Sarah, Bradley, Nathan and Mariah Lundy, Allison Viera, and Jacelyn and Kyler Smith; 1 brother, Stanley Cooper of Indianapolis; 3 sisters: Lexie Weaver of Tenn., Katherine Hatton and Kay Graves of Greenwood. She was preceded by 4 brothers, 1 sister and son in law, Robert Lundy.
Visitation will be 4-8pm, Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary and also 1 hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be at 11am, Friday, June 3, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary with Jack Elliott officiating. Marie will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery.
