J. Dwan Lee, age 67 and a resident of Gulfport, left this world, Sunday, November 16, 2003 in Gulfport, MS.

He was born August 6, 1936 in Gulfport, MS. He attended Lyman School and graduated from Forrest County Agriculture High School in Brooklyn, MS in 1954. He attended MS Southern College before joining his father as co-owner of Lee's Service Station and Grocery in Lyman. After selling the business, Mr. Lee then went to the U.S. Naval Home as a nursing assistant where he made employee of the year. He has left behind many friends and co-workers.

Dwan was preceded in death by his father and mother, J.T. and Sylvia Lee, who he loved and adored. He leaves behind his aunts, Grace Smith and her husband, Mike of Lyman; Etoile Jones of Lumberton; Odessa Lamb of Gulfport; his uncles, Reverend Doug Reid of Gulfport; Donald Gene Reid of Lumberton; many cousins and life long friends.

Funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, Highway 49 North, Gulfport where friends may attend the visitation at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Gulfport.
