Ragna G. Christofferson of 3570 West 11th Avenue passed away Tuesday, Septmeber 3, 1963 in a Portland hospital at the age of 84 years. She was born at Starbuck, Minnesota on January 8, 1879. She had been a resident of the community since 1922, and was a life member of the Central Lutheran Church. She is survived by 2 sons, Arne and Paul both of Eugene, 5 daughters: Mrs. Clifford Defoe of Eugene, Mrs. Robert Rose, Mrs. Floyd Case and Mrs. Harold Kohler all of Portland, Mrs. John Larsgaard of Tacoma, 17 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Priscilla Myhr and Mrs. Sigurd Lindseth both of Minnesota. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday September 5, 1963 at 11 .m.m in the Central Lutheran Church with Rev. Olaf Anderson officiating. Concluding services Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made in Mrs. Christofferson's memory to the Church's Building Fund. McGaffee's Eugene Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
