Jerseyville – Patricia J. Williams, 53, died at 9:20 a.m. Monday at Jersey Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in East St. Louis, daughter of Roy and Helen (Stone) Hoekstra of Jerseyville, she married Phillip Eugene Williams on Dec. 12, 1948 in Grafton.
Surviving are her parents and husband, also two daughters, Linda Duncan of Wood River and Laura Watson of Jerseyville; a son, Randy, of Jerseyville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville where the services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Earl Clagg officiating.
Burial will be in Hartford Cemetery in Grafton.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, east of Jerseyville, where she was a member.
