Grace Forrette Fulton was the daughter of Charles and Wilhelmine Buhmann. Her mother died when Grace was just a year old and she was raised by her stepmother, Anna "Minnie" Henson Forette. Grace was born in Colorado but grew up in Dallas, Oregon with her siblings Elsie, Paul, Lloyd aka "Brick", Charles & Jack. Her father was a miner and blacksmith. Grace was a school teacher in Dallas and later in Portland where she met and married Charles E. Fulton. She was a sweet and gentle woman who always had a smile on her face and was very loving toward her nieces and nephews as she had no children of her own. Everyone who knew her loved Aunt Grace.
