J. Mildred Martin, 92, passed away May 6, 2010. She was born Feb. 20, 1918, in Bonita TX to John Maloy and Minnie Sota (Morgan) Buck. A graduate of Bethany (OK) High School, she belonged to the Flower Club, was a Women of the Word Bible Study Leader, PTA member, and longtime church greeter. She married Everett L. Martin on Aug. 21, 1937, and they enjoyed 72 years together.

Preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings, Mildred is survived by her husband Everett; sons Marshall Martin and wife Loretta of Amarillo TX, Keith Martin and wife Esther of Celina OH; grandchildren Roger Martin and wife Kathy of Norman OK, Brian Martin and wife Katrina and Michele Judkins and husband Duke, all of Amarillo TX, Timothy Martin and wife Christa of Newport RI; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother Herschel Buck of Gun Barrel City TX.
