Ronald R. Acton, 72, died December 1, 2001. Ronald joined the Houston Police Dept. on Nov. 21, 1955 with Class No. 13 and retired Aug. 14, 1982 after 27 years of dedicated service. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served with the U.S. Army.
Survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary; one daughter; a brother; two grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Wed., Dec. 5, 2001, Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral services 11 AM Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Richard M. Ward officiating. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
