Roy Donald Agee was the son of Roy Charles and Grace Brown Agee of Douglas County. His only sibling, Morris (1909-1924), died young.

Donald married Clara Vivian Gillam on 3 Feb 1934 in Jackson CO, OR. They had four children: Kenneth, Elaine (Gossel), Delbert and Debra (Thompson)--twins.

The family lived Kelley's Corner (farming); Roseburg (he worked for California Oregon Power Company building the dam at Winchester, in the the Douglas County clerk's office, the tax department, and a butcher shop); in Medford (cold storage plant); and in Elkton (farming) at the H.G. Brown place.
