Roy Clifford Hunt, 71, of Cottageville, died Wednesday at home after a long illness. He was a member of the Operating Engineers, a construction worker in heavy equipment and was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Thornton Hunt; sons, Lloyd and Arnold, both of Cottageville, Richard of Sandyville, Herschell of Follansbee, Martin of Clarkson, Mich., Roger of Parkersburg; daughter, Mrs. Brenda McMaster of Elizabeth; brother, Lawrence of Cottageville; half sister, Gertrude Miller of Parkersburg; and 20 grandchildren. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
