Elizabeth Sophia Conrad 1993 Halifax Herald

Elizabeth Sophia Conrad, 84, 34 MacDonald Street, Lunenburg, died December 20, 1993, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Blue Rocks, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Sophia (Whynacht) Walters. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a son, Gordon, Lunenburg; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; son, Kenneth; five sisters, Mamie, Margaret, Geneva, Sadie, Kate; six brothers, Whitman, Howard, Clarence, William, Angus, Jason. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Laurence Mawhinney officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or any charity.
