OGDEN – Melvin Lamar Hamaker, 66, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2004 at his home.
He was born May 18, 1937 in Lake County, Montana to Melvin and Margaret Connell Hamaker.
Melvin was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Ogden High School, where he was active in wrestling and football. He played in the first Iron Horse game and was the editor of his school newspaper.
He is survived by a sister, two daughters, three granddaughters, very special friends, Gina and Jerry, his cat Harriett, and other loving family members.
