Edwin L. Childs, 78 of Modesto, died Sunday at this home.
Mr. Childs was a native of Omaha, Neb. He lived in Modesto 33 years and was a laborer 23 years at Foster Farms Dairy. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his sons, Mark Childs, Phil Childs and Steve Childs, all of Modesto; and a sister, Doris Banker of Omaha, Neb.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Inc., 601 McHenry Ave., Suite C, Modesto, 95350.
