THE GETTYSBURG TIMES, Tuesday, April 18, 1950: MRS. S. ARTHUR MYERLY -- Mrs. Myrtle Myerly, 64, wife of S. Arthur Myerly, near Taneytown, was fatally stricken about 8 o'clock Sunday evening while attending a religious meeting in the Taneytown Opera house. The woman succumbed shortly after Dr. R. S. McVaugh arrived in response to a call. Mrs. Myerly was a daughter of the late Oliver and Lucinda Angel. Surviving besides her husband are a number of nephews and nieces. She was employed by the Carroll Shoe company, Littlestown. Services at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Fuss funeral home, Taneytown, by the Rev. George Myers, assisted by the Rev. Richard Myers. Burial in the Keysville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening between 7 and 9 o'clock.
