DAVENPORT - Richard L. Ostdiek, 57, died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport, after an extended illness.
Private services will be at Davenport Memorial Park. Runge Mortuary, Davenport, is in charge of arrangements.
He worked 27 years for Davenport City Lines. After that, he was employed six years at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davenport, and then at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport.
He married Kathryn Robertson in 1952 in Ottumwa, Iowa.
He had served in the Army and was a member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church and Noon Lions Club, both of Davenport.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Rick, Davenport; and Robby, Los Angeles; his mother, Florence Cline, Burlington, Iowa; a brother, Bob, Ottumwa; a special aunt, Lucille Fedrick, Anaheim, Calif.; and a special friend, Ryan Patrick Dunn, Davenport.
