Word was received here by relatives of the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Baumgartner. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Schroeder at Freeburg after a lingering illness, at the age of 78. Her husband preceded her in death about fifteen years ago, also two daughters who died several years ago. Edward Baumgartner of Linn, Joseph Baumgartner of Jefferson City, Mrs. Josephine Schroeder of Freeburg, Mrs. Anna Naury of Oklahoma, Messrs, Joe and John Baumgartner of Summerfield and Sister M. Pelagia at Santa Maria in Ripa survive. Burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery at Vienna, MO Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. John Fugel officiating.
