Elmer Tidrick, 90, Brainerd, passed away Monday, July 21, 2003, at Woodland Good Samaritan Village, Brainerd.
He was born Sept. 10, 1912, in Stanton County, Neb. He married Edna M. Bandlow on March 22, 1934, in Motley. He worked as a tech at the Brainerd Regional Human Services Center for many years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Brainerd.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; two sons, Richard Tidrick, Brainerd, and James Tidrick, Minneapolis; two daughters, Joyce (Russell) Caughey, Brainerd, Nancy (Bernard) Kienow, Dayton, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Roxie Griffith, Motley; and many nieces and nephews.
His daughter, Winifred Olson, parents, five sisters and six brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at First Presbyterian Church, Brainerd, with Pastors Harold Tongen and Dwight Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Brainerd.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home, Brainerd, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
