Harry G. Bowman, 77, a retired Crane Company employee, died Monday in Parkview Nursing Home following a brief illness. Until a month ago he had been residing with a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Heritage, 4424 River Road. He was born in Eaton and farmed until coming to Muncie. He retired in 1954 from the Crane Company following 25 years employment there. He was a member of the Madison Street Methodist Church.
Other survivors include a son, Ed, Indianapolis; a brother, William, Muncie; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Meeks Mortuary with burial in Union Cemetery, near Eaton. Friends may call at the mortuary after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
