George Franklin Bowman, 90, a retired farmer, died at 10:15 o'clock last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sally Cruea, 722 East Adams street, after a brief illness. He was born in Rockingham County, Va., March 30, 1850, and came to Delaware County in 1883. Mr. Bowman was a member of the Lutheran Church in Virginia.

Surviving are two sons, Harry B. Bowman and W.O. Bowman; four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dragstrem of Indianapolis, Mrs. Anna Wolters of near Muncie, Mrs. Virginia Sharp of Cleveland, and Mrs. Cruea; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Meeks mortuary. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Meeks mortuary with Rev. Virgil Yohe in charge. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Eaton.
