Mrs. Catherine Ann Bowman, 80, wife of George Franklin Bowman, died at 5:15 o'clock last evening at the family residence four miles southeast of Muncie, following a three weeks' illness. She was a member of the Dutch Reform Church, Timberville, Va., and a member of the Ladies' Aid Society of the Bethel M.E. Church. She moved to Delaware County in 1883 from Virginia.

Survivors are the husband, two sons, W.O. Bowman and Harry G. Bowman, Muncie; four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dragstrom, Indianapolis, Mrs. Anna Wolters, near Muncie, Mrs. Sally Cruea of Muncie, and Mrs. Virginia Sharp, Cleveland; one brother, John Gordon, Virginia; 17 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Max Shafer officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Eaton.
