Emory S. Harnish of Three Springs, PA died at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, May 9, 1952 at the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, PA. He had been ill for six days. The cause of death was coronary thrombosis.

Mr. Harnish was born on September 9, 1879 in Saxton, PA; a son of Zachary and Isazoria (Brown) Harnish. He married Clara Marie Carnes on April 20, 1917 and they had a daughter, Martha Elizabeth Harnish. His wife, Marie, preceded him in death on November 1945.

Mr. Harnish was previously married to Alice Long on 28 March 1900 and then Edythe Shaver on 21 July 1904. Both marriages ended in divorce.

Mr. Harnish was a member of the Three Springs Methodist Church and was employed by Rockhill Coal and Iron Company for 30 years until he retired in 1943.
