A telegram to Powersville last Sunday announced the death of Mr. Alva Cliett, son of Mr. O. A. Cliett. The young man was about 22 years of age, had been in the U. S. Army about a year and died suddenly at his post in Charleston, S.C. last Sunday morning. The body was sent home for interment, reaching Powersville Wednesday noon. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of their many friends.
