Frank Laurence Whaley, 71, of 716 Payson Ave Quincy, IL died at his home September 19, 1965. He was a retired carpenter and had lived in Quincy since 1944. Mr. Whaley was born in Spalding, Mo. April 29, 1894, a son of Frank E. and Elizabeth Krigbaum Whaley. On August 3, 1915 he was married in Hannibal to Florence Elder. He was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Florence, two daughters, Gladys Mitchell of Lorain, Ohio and Mrs. William (Mary) Miller of Quincy: two sisters Mrs. Vera Dunston of Alton and Mrs. Alberta Thomas of Hannibal and four grandchildren; Thaddeus Mitchell, Jeffrey and Jeannie Mitchell and Deborah Miller.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Robert and two sisters Miss Ethel Whaley and Mrs. Georgia Lewis.
