Services for Arlene “Mortie” Knox, 56, of 4510 27th Ave., Seattle were conducted Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Mountain View Cemetery. Rev. K.E. Gustafson officiated.
Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Knox died Tuesday, Aug. 28 at the St. Cabrina Hospital in Seattle following an illness of several weeks.
She was born in Glendive, Mont. March 19, 1928, the daughter of the late Elmer and Florence Schultz Martinson. She attended schools in Glendive and was a graduate of high school there. She married James Samuel Knox in Rock Springs Sept. 16, 1951. He preceded her in death Oct. 29, 1975.
Mrs. Knox was a member of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include one son, Robert Knox of Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Mrs. Mark (Jamie) Brown of Kemmerer; one granddaughter, Kodi Jean Brown, of Kemmerer and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Knox was preceded in death by one brother, Robert.
