Mrs. Alice R. Fleming, wife of Alonzo Fleming, died at the family home at 8:20 o'clock Wednesday evening, after an illness of several months. She was born February 14, 1864, at Romney, but had spent most of her life in this vicinity. Surviving are the husband and the following children, Mrs. Blanche Coombs, of Mulberry; John C., and Mrs. Edith McMindes, Colfax, Glen and Mrs. Lloyd Platt, Frankfort, and Mrs. Ray Platt, Clarks Hill, with 13 grandchildren, and one brother, Dallas Crouch, Lafayette. Funeral services will be held at the Clarks Hill M. E. church, on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock; interment in Clark cemetery.
