Jessie Folger Stricken
Miss Jessie Folger, 64, of 711 Pearl Street, died at 9:10 o'clock Friday night at the county hospital after a long illness. She was a retired Reeves Pulley company office worker.
Born May 24, 1896, in Bartholomew County, she was the daughter of Thomas C. and Helena Stein Folger. She was a member of first united Presbyterian Church and was also a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma sorority.
Funeral services were at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at Hathaway Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Williams of Lafayette. Burial was at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Survivors are a sister, Miss Edna V. Folger, mathematics teacher at Columbus high school; a brother, Carlos S. Folger, county assessor; three nieces and a nephew, Miss Elma Jean Folger, Carlos E. Folger and Mrs Shirley King, all of Columbus, and Mrs. Chester L. Snyder of Farmington, Mich.; and a great nieces and nephews, Susan and Thomas Snyder and Ann and Thomas King
