LIVINGSTON - Funeral services for E. Ray Thompson, 61, of Livingston will be held at the Livingston chapel of Speck Funeral Home at 2 p.m. tomorrow with burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Thompson died at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville on Friday, Dec. 11.

A native of Overton County, Mr. Thompson was born on March 14, 1937, to Hubert and Bessie Collins Thompson.

Mr. Thomson was a truck driver and construction worker, and he was a member of the West End Church of Christ.

His family includes his wife, Saundra Thompson of Livingston; two sons, Bret Thompson of Athens, Ala., and Greg Thompson of Livingston; five brothers, Joe Thompson, Ricky Thompson and Bennie Thompson, all of Livingston, Ronnie Thompson of Lebanon and Kenny Thompson of Livingston; three sisters, Gladys Hooks and Brenda Sullivan, both of Livingston, and Virginia Dailey of Indianapolis, Ind., and three grandchildren, Tessa, Robby and Caroline Thompson.

In addition to her parents, Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by a brother, Winton Thompson.

His pallbearers will be Philip Hooks, David Sullivan, Mark Thompson, Scott Thompson, Brian Thompson and Bruce Thompson.

Bro. Kerry Duke will officiate at the services.
