Dr. Haring's Death ~ He passed away at the Nyack Hospital on Monday.
Dr. Isaac C. Haring died at the Nyack Hospital on Monday. A couple of weeks previous he underwent an operation at the Nyack Hospital for serious intestinal trouble, and his condition was found to b such as to afford but little hope of his recovery.
His death occurred a few minutes before noon on Monday.
The services were held at his late residence, West Nyack, on Thursday, at 10:30 A. M., and the interment was at the family plot, Oak Hill Cemetery.
Dr. Haring was born at Pearl River, this county, and his age was 71 years, 7 months and 27 days. His father was Cornelius I. Haring and his mother was formerly Sophia Demarest. He studied medicine in the Albany Medical College, and practiced in this county for nearly fifty years, most of that time being spent at what is now known as West Nyack.
Dr. Haring is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters. His sons are John Haring, of West Nyack; Cornelius Haring, a lawyer, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Moses Cantine Haring, of Buffalo. His daughters are Ella, wife of the Rev. Ferdinand S. Schenk, of New York, and Miss Bertha Haring, who lives at home.
Dr. Haring is the last of his branch of the Haring family to pass away. He had three sisters - now all dead - Margaret, wife of David J. Blauvelt; Maria, wife of John C. Blauvelt, and Ann, wife of James Lydecker. John C. Blauvelt and James Lydecker have also passed away. Dr. Haring had one brother, Jacob, who died at Nanuet at few months ago.
