Mr. Vee, a longtime resident of Spokane was born in Alexandria, Minn.

He graduated from Rogers High School in 1964. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, where he received several medals, including a Purple Heart.

Mr. Vee retired from the state of Washington after 30 years.

He enjoyed traveling, golfing, snowmobiling and boating.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Marsha; three daughters, Debra Hammel, Christina Barry and Karen Day, his parents, Elvin and Clarice Vee, a brother, Ron Vee and one sister, Evonne Edwards, all of Spokane; and 12 grandchildren.
