CLARA SMITH OF MORGAN DIES

Mrs. Clara Smith, 67, of Morgan, widow of Hyrum Smith, died Friday afternoon in a local hospital, following seven months of illness.

Services will be conducted Tuesday at one p. m. in North Morgan L. D. S. Ward Chapel by Bishop Horace E. Heiner. Interment will be in North Morgan Cemetery, directed by Lindquist & Sons Mortuary of Ogden. Friends may call at the residence in Morgan Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday prior to services.

She was born March 2, 1872, in Morgan to Mr. and Mrs. George Heiner, and had been a life-long resident of that community. She had been active in North Morgan Ward Relief society and in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Nessa Green George C., Arnold H., Thomas A., Harvey, Leslie, Lewis and Raymond Smith of Morgan and Mrs. Roy Mlorris of Coalville 22 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: John and Horace Heiner, Morgan; Mrs. Mary Ellon Stewart and Mrs. Nettie Gill, Lyman, Wyo.; Mrs. Eliza Durrant, Ririe, Idaho; Mrs. Ida Berlin and Mrs Viola Wright, Ogden, and Mrs. Fowles, Idaho.

NORTH MORGAN, Nov. 22, Services for Clara Smith, widow of Hyrum Smith were conducted Tuesday in the L. D. S. North Morgan Chapel by Counselor James T. Palmer.

Prelude and postlude were played by Cora Jones. Singing mothers of North Morgan ward offered a number of selections. Other vocalists were Albert Carrigan, Millie
Robison and Leona Heiner. Accompanist was Elsie Heiner. Invocation was by David A. Robison and benediction by R. R. Fry.

Speakers were John Heiner, Counselor Palmer, and President Calvin C. Geary. Interment was in North Morgan Cemetery. The grave was dedicated by Angus E. Berlin. Pallbearers
were sons and flower girls were granddaughters.
