PILOT MOUNTAIN, NC ~ Mr. Albert Junior Williams, 65, of Pilot Mountain passed away at Northern Surry Hospital. He was born July 12, 1938, in Bland, Va., to William Ernest Williams and Ocie Mae Stanley Williams. He served in the U.S. Army, was a retired maintenance mechanic foreman for Insteel Industries and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Albert Lee and Tena Williams, David and Bonnie Williams and Michael and Kimberly Williams; four grandchildren, Randy Williams, Mallory Williams, Jeffrey Williams and Abigail Williams; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Bobby Brown, Linda and Larry Burton and Charlotte and Paul Lawson; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Pat Williams, Cecil Williams, Bobby and Dale Williams, Rodney and Jackie Williams, Basil and Betty Williams, Elmer Williams and Lee and Charlotte Williams; and a sister-in-law, Donna Williams-Utsler. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Howard Williams and Hank Williams. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at Collinstown Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Tracey Collins and Brother Don Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2019, Mount Airy, and Post 9436, Pilot Mountain. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, June 25, Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Collinstown Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Mr. Frank Overby, 1916 Puckett Road, Westfield, NC 27053. The family would like to thank the staffs of Central Continuing Care and Northern Surry Hospital for their care and support.
