Perla was the daughter of George M Jones (b.1854, d.1905) and Sarah Caroline Gunsaulis (b.1863, d.1907).
She married the Deputy Sheriff Jefferson Elwood Hamilton on 25 Dec 1899. They named their children Van Uhl, Raymond Elsworth, Elsie Neoma, James Edward Jeffries, Nellie Marie and Alice Dare Hamilton.
A very hard working, loved woman .. all her grandchildren loved their time at her house .. she would go to Nellie's house for a week or so and catch up all the washing, ironing, "darning", cooking .. everything smelled so good while she was there .. so "homemade" like ..
She is buried by the side of her husband Jeff in an unmarked grave site.
