In memory of our loving son Linza Talmadge captured at the fall of Bataan April 9, 1942, a prisoner of the Japanese for two years, lost his life September 7, 1944 when the Japanese prison ship on which he was being transported from Mindanao to Manila was sunk by U.S. Forces.
