SOUTH SIOUX CITY -- Linn T. Bomar, 41, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of South Sioux City, passed away Oct. 22, 2010, at his home from cancer.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church in South Sioux City, with the Rev. Stephen Niles officiating. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.

Mr. Bomar was born July 14, 1969, in Sioux City, the son of Jack and Deanna June (Bakken) Bomar. He graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1988, and graduated with a bachelor's in criminal justice from University of South Dakota in Vermillion. Linn was a corrosion specialist with the Northern Border Pipeline.

He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont, Minn.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Kougl Bomar of Rogers; one daughter, Bailey Linn Bomar at home; his parents of South Sioux City; his sisters, Mary McNulty and husband, Mike of Gilbert, Ariz., and Karen Anderson and husband, Tony of Sergeant Bluff; his mother-in-law, Bonnie Davis of Rogers; a sister-in-law, Jody Kougl Lindstrom and husband, Donn; two brothers-in-law, Mike and Patrick Kougl; nieces and nephews, Maggie and Mark McNulty, Keegan, Kaleb and Kourtney Kougl; many aunts uncles, and cousins; and a host of special friends.
