Rebecca was a founding member of the First Christian Church of Grand Prairie, Texas, established in 1903, along with her daughter Annetta, son-in-law Albert, daughter Lillian and son-in-law Charles Hall. After the death of her second husband David in 1906, Rebecca moved from the Lacey farm in Eagle Ford (west Dallas) after the family sold the farm land to Southwestern State Portland Cement Company in 1909. Rebecca moved to the home of her daughter Lillian Hall in Grand Prairie where she died on January 25, 1926.
