Mary Lucille (Peitz) Lachowsky, 77, of Conway passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011. She went to dwell in the Gold Laden room, which God had prepared for her. She was born on March 1, 1934 in Morrilton to the late Carl and Teresa (Bellinghausen) Peitz.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was an active member and volunteer at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she was also an Eucharistic Minister to the homebound. She married Alfred Lachowsky on May 24, 1955 and Tuesday would have been their 56th wedding anniversary.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred Lachowsky; four sons, Richard (Lori) Lachowsky, Robert Lachowsky, and Ralph (Sherri) Lachowsky of Conway, and Andrew Lachowsky of Little Rock; three daughters, Charlotte (Steve) Simon and Deborah (Mike) Gangluff of Conway, and Elizabeth (Michael) Thaibinh of Thailand; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Pietz of Conway and Bernice Smith of Fort Smith, and Ed Peitz of Hot Springs Village.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father John Marconi. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum with Jason Gangluff, Tyler Joe Lachowsky, Michael Andrew Thaibinh, Steve Simon, Neil Pennington, and Mike Gangluff, serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m., on Monday, May 23, 2011, followed by Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at St. Joseph's.
