John Marshall Plew died on May 20th. He was born on November 26, 1921 in
Jasonville, IN to Aude & Ruth Plew.

He was a barber in the Union Building at Indiana University for 36 years.
Following his retirement from IU, he barbered part-time for a number of
years in the family shop located on West 11th Street that his father, Aude,
had established in the 1930s, alongside his brother, Ted.

John is survived by his three sons - Mark (Sarah) of Boise, ID; Kevin
(Jean) of Greenwood, IN; Brian (Linda) of Boise, ID; two grandsons - Jared
& Keenan Plew; and two great-grandsons. He is also survived by his brother
Ted (Lois) Plew of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by his wife,
Betty, in July of 2010.

John was of the Christadelphian faith.

Viewing will be at Deremiah Frye at 700 W. Gourley Pike, Bloomington, on
Friday, May 27th from 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral Services will be conducted
beginning at noon. Burial will be at Valhalla Cemetery.

Seve Evans will officiate the service. Contributions in John's memory may be made to the
Christadelphian faith in care of the funeral home.
