Helen N. Lowe, 90, rural Hillsboro, died 5 am Tuesday in her home.
Mrs. Lowe was a homemaker.
Her memberships included Friendship Garden Club; Kingman Order of Eastern Star 204, where she was a 50-plus year member; Jackson Township Home Extension; and Fountain County Historical Society. She was a 1932 Marshall High School graduate.
She was born Dec. 19, 1913, at Tippecanoe County, to Edward O. and Pearl W. Summers Taylor.
She married Max Ervin Lowe on June 17, 1933. he died Jan. 20, 1976.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Joe Whittington, Kingman; three granddaughters, Jean and John Leibold, North Ogden, Utah, Lori and David Poer, Woodstock, Ga., and Judy and Mark Ratcliff, Kingman; three sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and 10 great-grandchildren.
One grandson, jack Whittington; three brothers; and four sisters are deceased.
Mother's wished were to be cremated and her ashes interred in Phanuel Lutheran Cemetery beside her husband. There will be no planned calling, but a memorial service is scheduled 2:30 pm Sunday in Hall Funeral Home, 400 E. State St., Kingman with the Rev. Kenny Majors officiating. Burial will be private at a later date in Phanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Wallace.
Memorials may be made to Southeast Fountain Community Foundation, 405 N. Mill St., Veedersburg, IN. or the American Heart Association.
